The CJ and CJ1 were the smallest Citation aircraft before the emergence of the Mustang. The CJ1 has become one of the preferred choices for executives travelling to business meetings on short-haul journeys, mainly because it has suffered less wear and tear than many of the older Citation models yet has cheap operating costs.
