Relocating 76 rescue cats to an animal sanctuary
We were contacted by an animal charity that relocates at-risk pets to safe havens from overcrowded shelters and disaster zones. The client needed to fly 76 rescue cats in Louisiana and Texas to an animal sanctuary in Utah.
Our Solution
Routes: Baton Rouge > Brownsville > Kanab
Aircraft: Beechcraft 1900
We proposed a solution within 15 minutes, arranging the charter of a twin-engine turboprop that was the ideal size to accommodate the animals.
On the day of departure, the cats were made comfortable in crates and driven to the airport, where they were carefully hand-loaded onto the aircraft using a belt loader. Rescue charity staff were there to oversee the process and ensure the animals’ welfare.
The flight left promptly and the cats arrived safely at their new home.
